[OPINION] My Turn: 10 reasons not to kill light rail to downtown Glendale

At an October workshop session, the Glendale City Council once again considered our long-planned connection to the Valley Metro light-rail system.

At the end of our discussion, four of the seven council members (Mayor Jerry Weiers, Vice Mayor Ian Hugh and Council members Ray Malnar and Joyce Clark) did not feel Glendale should continue moving forward with our light-rail plans.
