These are the top ‘Phoenix Business Journal’ lists for 2017

A slideshow extravaganza with lists galore — those involving construction and real estate tend to be the most popular

Readers love rankings, and each week the Phoenix Business Journal has its own for the Valley’s business community.

With more than 100 lists running throughout the year, everything from our Best Places to Work to the largest private companies find a home within the weekly edition’s pages. Each list is ranked on different formulas. Some are ranked by the number of employees. Others are ranked by revenue. But all of lists use a ranking system investigated by researcher Dale Brown to see where they fall on the list.

The trend with the most popular lists is geared toward real estate, and following we list out the most popular of those lists.
