Council approves $1.5M for waterline infrastructure improvements for BMW

After approving a new BMW dealership north of Union Hills Drive along Loop 101, the city council unanimously approved more than $1.5 million for infrastructure improvements to the waterline in the area.

“City staff is requesting a one-time transfer of $1,673,853 for the city’s share of water line design and construction in the area,” said assistant city manager Jack Friedline during the Jan. 9 council meeting. “This would support the extension of the water line from the east side of Loop 101 to connect on the west side at the city’s water reclamation facility.”
