With the economy on the rise, Craig Jackson sets sights high for Barrett-Jackson this year

The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction starts later this week and as the entire production gets set up at Westworld in Scottsdale and more than 1,770 cars get inspected and ready for auction, Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson is expecting big things from this year’s auction.

He said this year’s lineup of cars for auction is the best since 2007. One of the reasons is because the economy is on the ups right now and that has an effect on the collector car industry.

“Car collecting as a whole has been one of the fast appreciating assets, over 400 percent in the last decade,” Jackson said.
