Tempe City Council incumbents seeking re-election handily have the most campaign funding this election season, followed by candidate Sarah Kader

Ballots went out last week in the all-mail election that ends March 13. Six candidates seek three council seats in this year’s election.

Councilwoman Lauren Kuby, seeking a second term, topped candidates by raising $71,029 in donations, according to the latest quarterly campaign finance report in early January.

Vice Mayor Robin Arredondo-Savage, who seeks a third term, raised $40,775 in donations. She’s followed by Kader, who raised $30,237.
