Roberts Hiring Comes as New Drone Bills Hit the State Capital for Debate
Scottsdale based Rose Law Group pc is proud to announce litigator Troy Roberts will join the growing Cyberlaw department as Chairman of Cybersecurity, Privacy and Emerging Technologies. Roberts brings expertise in drone and privacy laws to the department.

Roberts comes from a military background as a naval aviator and assistant professor at the University of Texas, where he created curriculum for and taught classes such as Introduction to Naval Science, and Sea Power and Maritime Affairs.
Roberts hiring comes as many new bills are being introduced this session at the state capital that could impact drone use in Arizona.

While attending the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, Roberts was the production editor of Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science and Technology. During his tenure he honed his skills, and has written numerous articles about drone, privacy and other litigation practices in publications like Arizona Attorney and for the American Bar Association, amongst others. Roberts is also familiar with related policy and legislative issues after having completed his Master of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, including conducting policy work internationally for the Congressional Research Service
