Taylor Morrison debuts $200K homes in West Valley

Taylor Morrison Homes Corp. (NYSE: TMHC) is debuting a new development in Surprise with homes priced in the low $200,000s.

The Greer Ranch development is opening with 42 homes at Cactus Road and Sarival Avenue in the West Valley.

First-time and entry-level home buyers are big drivers of Arizona’s housing market. Skylar Olsen, senior economist for real estate firm Zillow, lists affordable entry-level neighborhoods such as Kleinmann Park in Mesa and Esclante in Tempe as poised to see the greatest price increase in the Phoenix region this year.
