Tim Dunn has been appointed to Don Shooter’s former seat in the Arizona House of Representatives.
The board selected Dunn from a list of three nominees who were recommended by local Republican precinct committee leaders. Cora Lee Schingnitz and Paul Brierley were the other finalists.

Under state law, the seat must be filled by a Republican from Yuma County, where Shooter had his official residence.
Dunn owns a family-run farm business, Dunn Grain Co. Inc., that specializes in selling seeds for a variety of grains. The company exports crops like garbanzo beans, black-eyed peas, Sudan grass and wheat.
