The controversial document, released by the U.S. House Intelligence Committee Republican staff at the direction of Rep. Devin Nunes, R California, alleges the FBI and the DOJ illegally surveilled the Trump presidential campaign.
A rebuttal by Democratic members of the committee was released a few weeks later.
Colbert on Friday announced the released of a parody memo that simply read: “Devin Nunes is a (redacted).”
He then roams the halls of Capitol Hill, giving the memo to lawmakers and their staffs, including Sen. Jeff Flake.
Flake portion begins at 5:18 into the video.
