Mattamy signs energy storage company for Phoenix community

ElectriQ Power will provide system that optimizes connected renewable energy, batteries, electric vehicle charger, and smart devices.


ElectrIQ Power, a Palo Alto-based energy storage company developing hardware and software solutions, is piloting its energy storage technology in a new Arizona housing development with Mattamy Homes.

Mattamy Homes will install ElectrIQ Power’s IQ System, an all-in-one home energy management and storage solution, in a model home located in their new Haven community in Phoenix, Arizona. The IQ System optimizes connected renewable energy, batteries, Electric Vehicle charger, and smart devices through real-time analysis of utility rates, weather forecasts, historical energy usage, and other factors to manage backup power and electric bills.

    This is a very good example of how storage has been and still is a big advantage for power use in a home and the GRID. Tesla started these examples and many others are now showing how it can be very cost effective.
    If the Power companies can work with us and make the right incentives and Tariffs we can all benefit.
