Mayor gives cause to celebrate – details Glendale growth, successes

Citing the City of Glendale’s unparalleled growth as reason to celebrate, Mayor Jerry Weiers delivered his 2018 State of the City address to a sellout crowd of more than 600 business owners and leaders, as well as state and local elected and public officials March 1, during the Glendale Chamber of Commerce’s 67th annual address and dinner at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa.

“The growth we are experiencing is unparalleled, and it is a direct result of a conscious effort to make tough, fiscally responsible decisions, while bringing down barriers that were blocking progress,” Weiers began. “Tonight, I want to focus on the success we have seen as a city and what it means to our citizens, business owners and visitors.
