Mill Town to remove ground floor commercial to stay below height limit

The Flagstaff City Council will weigh in on a redesigned Mill Town apartment complex at its meeting Tuesday after the developer, Vintage Partners, chose not to exceed the height limit and to rent by the bedroom, which had already been granted conditional use permits by the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Vintage decided to forgo the permits, which would have allowed the building to reach 93 feet at its highest point, after the city council voiced concerns at its meeting March 6.
