Town of Florence enters agreement on new STEM school

As part of the Innovation Pavilion business development park coming to Florence, the council approved a “memorandum of understanding” (MOU) with Startup Pavilion Inc., the Pinal County School Office and Florence Unified School District (FUSD) toward a new STEM school at Florence K-8.

STEM, as IP uses it, stands for science, technology, entrepreneurship and mastery.

The Florence school board approved the MOU on March 13.
