Lampposts, park benches and buildings are not typically the best conversationalists, but those inanimate objects will soon come to life in downtown Mesa with the help of the Hello Lamp Post project.
The interactive digital art project – which debuted in Bristol, England, in 2013 and has since made its way to 10 cities, including Austin and Tokyo – will be on display throughout downtown Mesa until April 16 and will give residents and visitors the chance to interact via text message with everyday objects.
