For the first time in years, metro Phoenix apartment rents didn’t rise

Renters in metro Phoenix are finally getting a bit of a reprieve.

Apartment rents didn’t climb in most parts of the Valley last month, after several years of monthly increases.

Gilbert, Chandler and Avondale even saw slight dips in rents in February, a month when Valley rents usually climb because of winter visitors.
