Glendale announces new planning administrator

David Williams Selected Due to Public and Private Sector Experience

 The city of Glendale has selected David Williams AICP, to be the new planning administrator. David brings over 25 years of experience in managing planning and zoning teams and projects in Arizona, most recently serving as the vice president of planning for Urban Engineering.

The city of Glendale’s Planning Division provides significant assistance and support to city residents and businesses in areas the City Council has placed a priority on, including the current and long-range strategic planning of the city and zoning administration.

In addition to his extensive private sector experience, Williams served as the planning division manager for Oro Valley, AZ and was responsible for all town planning and zoning functions. He also served many years in the city of Tempe and town of Sahuarita in their planning and zoning departments.
