Lucid CEO says production will start in Casa Grande in ’24

Lucid Motors says in two years it will be producing a new electric vehicle in Casa Grande.

According to a report published in Charged magazine, Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson says the company is “about two years out” from being able to deliver the Lucid Air, an electric vehicle that will be built in Casa Grande.

Rawlinson told the trade magazine, “We’ve secured the [manufacturing] site in Casa Grande in Arizona, between Phoenix and Tucson. We’re about 24 months out from the start of production.”
