With the housing market slowly making a comeback, Coolidge is starting to experience some long-awaited growth.
The rise in building permits comes after a period with very few to almost no permits, Development Services Director Gilbert Lopez said.
For fiscal year 2017-18, which ends June 30, 11 new homes have been permitted, which includes one home that was done using federal dollars the city gets to restore homes.
