Analysis: Arizona has the 15th highest foreclosure rate for first quarter

One in 663 properties in Arizona started the foreclosure process during the first quarter of the year, according to an ATTOM Data Solutions analysis of property data.

It was the 15th highest foreclosure rate among U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

The data shows 4,397 Arizona properties with a foreclosure filing during the first three months of 2018. The state has more than 2.9 million housing units. The foreclosure rate in the state is up 8.06 percent from the end of 2017 and down 5.07 percent from a year ago.
