Avondale’s city manager finalists named

Residents and stakeholders are invited to participate in the selection process for Avondale’s new city manager. The selection has been narrowed down to four candidates.

A meet and greet reception will be followed by presentations by the candidates at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Avondale City Hall, 11465 W. Civic Center Drive. Light refreshments will be served.

The four candidates are Kevin Artz, Avondale’s assistant city manager; Gina Ramos Montes, Avondale’s assistant city manager; Charles Montoya, Watsonville, California, city manager; and Ruth Osuna, most recently assistant city manager for the city of Oxnard, California.
