The clock is ticking down toward a Flagstaff city election that could see no one challenge the mayor and enough candidates for city council to generate a primary, even though none of the incumbents is running for re-election.
Those wishing to run for Flagstaff City Council and mayor must submit petitions by Wednesday. They are required to collect between 1,313 and 2,626 signatures in order to qualify to be placed on the ballot.
