Flagstaff developer ready to build some houses for $265,000

A developer looking to build 119 homes in west Flagstaff may have more options after the city council opted to explore changes to the development agreement that would allow less expensive site-built homes in the project, instead of only manufactured homes.

The development, called Crestview, is a project of Capstone Homes, a developer from Flagstaff with projects in Bellemont and Presidio in the Pines. Crestview is in the early stages of development off West Route 66 and west of Railroad Springs. It was acquired by Capstone after the original developer, called Voyager, lost the property during the Great Recessio
