Scottsdale, Paradise Valley prime spots for celebrity homes

Metro Phoenix has its share of famous residents who buy one of the area’s million-dollar homes.

Some, like rockers Alice Cooper and Jimmy Adkins, are well-known and longtime Valley residents. Others, like music superstar Alicia Keys, can be spotted at their Paradise Valley or Scottsdale retreats on weekends.

Many pro athletes such as Steve Nash buy pricey homes when they play for Arizona teams but sell when they move on. Boxer Mike Tyson called the Phoenix area home for a while, too.
