A newly proposed Residence Inn could find itself adjacent to the existing Courtyard by Marriott, which sits at the intersection of State Route 89A and Upper Red Rock Loop Road. It would sit on just over three acres with an additional three-quarter acres of open space, which will be used for drainage. The 85-room hotel would include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, with the majority of the units being studios.
When the Courtyard by Marriott was approved nearly four years ago, it was understood that the lot next to it may someday become a second hotel under the same name brand.
