Slack confirms Denver office, but will it be its ‘HQ2?’

Slack Technologies will open a new Denver office this year, but it’s unclear if it will house the second headquarters being wooed by the Colorado Office of Economic Development.

The EDC unanimously approved a $10.5 million tax incentive package to lure the company to the Denver metro area at a Thursday morning meeting. The San Francisco tech firm told the state that its second headquarters would create up to 550 full-time jobs with an average salary of $107,975.

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper spoke with Slack’s C-Suite a few weeks ago to discuss the incentive package.
