The Peoria Planning and Zoning Commission recommended a case for the City Council to rezone a property at the northeast corner of 83rd and Olive avenues to make way for an 18.5 acre mixed-use development consisting of a 275-unit multi-family complex with a future commercial component.

The project, called Trellis at Roundtree Ranch, proposes a 12.1 acre multi-family residential parcel and a 6.4 acre retail parcel along Olive Avenue.

Peoria City Council will consider the case June  19.

The multi-family portion of the project details 3-story, 40-foot apartment buildings consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom units of 726, 1,037, and 1,244 square feet, respectively.
