CyrusOne scoops up Mesa land for new data center that will power Fortune 1000

A Dallas-based data center developer and operator has bought nearly 70 acres in the East Valley for a major new campus that will provide services for Fortune 1000 companies.

CyrusOne (Nasdaq: CONE) purchased 68.2 acres in Mesa where it plans to build a new data center five-building data center facility. It will be the data center operator’s second major center in Arizona in addition to an existing Chandler center.

Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed.
