Ducey praises Pinal County for ‘start-up state’

Speaking to a group in Casa Grande, the governor Friday hailed Arizona and Pinal County as an economic success story.

Gov. Doug Ducey said: “Pinal County is a shining example of being in a start-up state.”

Ducey, speaking at the monthly meeting of Pinal Partnership, an organization dedicated to promoting economic development in Pinal County, lauded many accomplishments of his first term in office, many of which worked toward creating a prosperous Arizona.

Ducey said creating jobs isn’t the direct duty of politicians but said creating a business-friendly environment is, and he said his administration has fostered job growth.
