Avondale adopts 2018-2019 budget

The Avondale City Council on June 18 adopted a budget of approximately $243.8 million for the 2018-19 fiscal year, an increase of $26.3 million from last year’s budget.

“Avondale takes a conservative approach to the budget and our planned expenditures,” said Cynthia Seelhammer, Avondale’s interim city manager.

“As in years past, we developed a fiscally responsible plan while maintaining exceptional service and quality operations for our residents.”
