Eloy City Council approves revisions to zoning ordinance

The Eloy City Council approved an updated zoning ordinance in terms of advertising and signs, subdivision regulations and the “official zoning map” on Monday evening.

The previous zoning ordinance comprised 18 sections separately. The update still includes the 18 sections but they fall under nine chapters, which is intended to make it easier to understand.

Subdivision regulations make up seven sections that were either eliminated or combined into six chapters.

In the updated zoning map there are no new areas delineated. The new zoning districts added include:
