Innovation Pavilion groundbreaking ‘a ways out’

The predevelopment feasibility study of Innovation Pavilion, a new business development park, is due this month, but actual groundbreaking is “probably a ways out,” IP CEO Kitty Kolding told the Town Council Monday.

Councilman John Anderson asked when the project would break ground as Kolding provided updates to the council. Although there’s no brick-and-mortar local headquarters, Kolding told the council that IP is planning several local events this fall, such as a “cybersecure your business” crash course in September, an “entrepreneur launchpad” event featuring Fire Within mobile wood-fired pizza ovens in September or October, a local digital marketing crash course in October, and a “Smart Cities” symposium in December.

IP is also planning to hold a “cybersecurity summit” on July 26.
