40 Under 40 Hall of Fame: Meet Jordan Rose, founder and president of Rose Law Group

Starting her law career with an idea on a napkin and an office in a storage closet, Jordan Rose now leads the largest women-led law firm in Arizona’s history — Rose Law Group PC.

“It’s not about the size, but the quality of work,” said Rose, who is among the four inductees of Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Hall of Fame. They will be honored at this year’s 40 Under 40 awards dinner on Aug. 2.

The humble beginnings in that storage closet helped her become who she is today, Rose said, adding that ultimately, success breeds more success.

Walmart was one of Rose’s first large clients, making for some awkward moments when they visited her office, something she usually avoided.

“They came into the office and the receptionist wasn’t there, so they started wandering. All of a sudden, they stumbled upon me sitting in the storage closet and I was essentially devastated. I was mortified,” Rose said. “They looked at me and said, ‘This is awesome. You’re coming to Bentonville next week.’”
