In a city always searching for positive real estate updates, new homes will be on the market in Coolidge sometime in the near future.

Residential housing developer Brown Homes will undertake the development of new homes in Coolidge just southwest of Coolidge Avenue and 9th Street.

The announcement was made at the Mayor’s Breakfast on Thursday. The home builder has purchased approximately 39 lots in an existing subdivision, which it will use transform into new housing units.

Mayor Jon Thompson announced that the homes, which will be added onto the McClellan Meadows subdivision, will be mostly single story structures ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 square feet.
