New Phoenix housing tract will complete Ball Park Boulevard for Glendale

Disclosure: Rose Law Group represents Mattamy Homes

A new housing tract approved by the Phoenix City Council will assist Glendale with the completion of a long-standing and uncompleted road near Camelback Ranch-Glendale baseball stadium.

Ball Park Boulevard, which runs west of the stadium, will be completed by Mattamy Homes in its residential housing project. The extension will connect Camelback Road on the south to Maryland Avenue to the north and relieve traffic to the stadium. Mattamy Homes’ share of the road construction is $850,000 and, if the extension is completed within two years, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox (tenants of Camelback Ranch-Glendale) will add a combined $150,000.

Representing Matamy Homes at the Phoenix City Council meeting, Rose Law Group President Jordan Rose said, “This road extension will remove traffic from 107th Avenue and it will allow better flow of traffic to the stadium on days of events. That is what this is really all about.”
