Realtors® Chief Economist reflects on past recession, what’s ahead for housing. Although some regions have experienced sales declines in recent months, NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun says concerns about whether the housing market has peaked and is headed for another significant slowdown are unfounded. New home building arbitration rules provide for quicker resolutions. “The American Arbitration Association recently issued revisions to its Home Construction Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures, which became effective on August 1.
