Babbott elected chair of Coconino County Board of Supervisors

In a regularly scheduled Tuesday meeting, the Coconino County Board of Supervisors named District 1 Supervisor Art Babbott as the next board chair.

Babbott replaces District 3 Supervisor Matt Ryan, who was elected chair in November 2017.

“I want to thank Supervisor Ryan for providing great leadership over the past 10 months.” Babbott said.

“I look forward to leading the Board of Supervisors as the county makes investments in innovation by developing the Counties Facility Master Plan, the Parks and Recreation Master Plan and the Subdivision Ordinance.”
