‘Saturday Night Live’ skewers Sen. Jeff Flake, Judge Brett Kavanaugh (and more)

You knew that “Saturday Night Live” would take on Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake during its 44th season premiere — you just didn’t know how.

Here’s your answer: Kate McKinnon brought back her version of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg during the “Weekend Update” segment of the show, and said, “Hey Jeff Flake, you can borrow a pair of my panties, since you’re so concerned about covering your own ass.”

Funny, but dang, who wasn’t hoping for an entire skit devoted to dithering?

Let’s take what we get. And this is the world we live in: All “Saturday Night Live” had to do to come up with a cold open for the show was recreate Thursday’s Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.
