City leaders last week appointed Scott Krous to fill the vacancy on the Surprise Planning and Zoning Commission following the recommendation of the Selection Advisory Commission, which is comprised of councilmen Roland F. Winters, Patrick Duffy and Vice Mayor Ken Remley.
City Clerk Sherry Aguilar administered the oath of office to Mr. Krous at the Oct. 16 City Council regular meeting at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza.
