Approximately 10 years following the crash of the home market in late 2007, new homes are finally coming to Coolidge.

Brown Homes, one of several residential housing developers to set up shop in Coolidge, has already begun construction on its first model home.

Located in the existing subdivision of McClellan Meadows on Coolidge Avenue, the infill project will feature varying single story home designs ranging from 1,250 square feet to almost 2,000 square feet.

Buyers have the options to select from a number of floor plans, from “the Verdin,” a 1,250 square feet design featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage, to “the Ibis,” a 1,964 square feet, four-bed, three-bath and three-car garage unit. Pricing on the homes range from $169,990 to just over $210,000.
