Just two weeks after the city manager’s resignation, city leaders have chosen his replacement.
The Surprise City Council convened an executive session to make their choice at the panel’s Oct. 16 regular meeting at City Hall, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza, during which they agreed to promote Assistant City Manager Mike Frazier to the position.
Surprise Mayor Sharon Wolcott praised the decision in a city press release last week.
“Michael Frazier’s entire career has been dedicated to public service; first as a police officer and most recently as a solid leader in our City Manager’s Office,” said Ms. Wolcott.
