AAED gives out its Golden Prospector Awards

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) has presented 12 Golden Prospector Awards recognizing excellence, innovation and creativity in economic development.

Gilbert’s Office of Economic Development and Sun Corridor Inc. each won two of the awards.

Gilbert was honored for its “What More Could You Want?” video and for its deal of the year, “Deloitte U.S. Delivery Center Attraction.”

Sun Corridor Inc. won for its “Site Selectors Guild Tucson Advisory Forum” special event and its deal of the year, “Hexagon Mining HQ Retention and Expansion.”

The town of Queen Creek earned top honors for its deal of the year, “Old Ellsworth Brewing Company.”
