Scottsdale OKs Pima Road Bridge widening project across Arizona Canal

Scottsdale City Council has approved a contract for construction services worth more than $2 million for Pima Road Bridge widening over the Arizona Canal.

The construction manager at-risk construction phase services contract with FNF Construction Inc., in the amount of $2,441,093.46, for the bridge widening as part of the Pima Road, Krail to Chaparral project.

The council also approved a resolution authorizing the city to enter into a contract with Salt River Project to license an area across the Arizona Canal for an existing pedestrian bridge, existing vehicular bridge and widening of the existing vehicular bridge.

City Council unanimously approved the authorizations on consent, Nov. 13, at City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
