Eloy council gets update on transit study

ELOY — A majority of respondents to a community survey said they would use a transit system in Eloy to go to Casa Grande for health care and shopping.

The Eloy City Council was briefed Monday on the Eloy Transit Feasibility Study, which is wrapping up, and ideas for artwork in the new City Hall.

Sun Corridor Metropolitan Planning Organization and consulting firm WSP presented the council with some of the preliminary transit recommendations and costs.
