Encanterra residents split on Queen Creek annexation

The future of San Tan Valley’s incorporation hopes could be decided in the near future, and residents are mixed on whether the right course is being taken.

Homeowners and residents of Encanterra Trilogy Resort Community voiced their grievances and endorsements for a possible annexation into Queen Creek in a public hearing during the Queen Creek Town Council meeting on Wednesday evening.

Proposed in early 2018, the potential annexation of the community would include 1,931 parcels of land, equaling roughly 755 acres of residential properties into the town of Queen Creek.
