Jeff Meilbeck named director of Flagstaff planning organization

Jeff Meilbeck’s retirement won’t last long.

After leaving his position as the first general manager and CEO of the Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority in November, Meilbeck was chosen earlier this month as the first ever executive director of the Flagstaff Metropolitan Planning Organization.

The FMPO board made the decision Monday, Dec. 2, and Coconino County Supervisor Art Babbott, who also acts as the vice-chair of the board, said they were happy to welcome Meilbeck into the position.
