TransCanada sells Coolidge Generating Station for $465 million

CALGARY, Alberta — A Canadian company is selling its Coolidge-based power plant.

TransCanada announced Monday that it has entered into an agreement to sell the Coolidge Generating Station to a subsidiary of SWG Coolidge Holdings LLC for $465 million.

SWG Coolidge Holdings is a subsidiary of the privately held energy company Southwest Generation Operating Co. LLC based in Denver.
