Casa Grande mayor says PhoenixMart is ‘still alive;’ more projects in the works

Mayor Craig McFarland

By Kevin Reagan | Pinal Central

As Mayor Craig McFarland begins his second term in office, he indicated there are several economic projects in the works across the city.

In a recent interview with PinalCentral, the mayor suggested the city is reviewing up to 20 proposed projects that have not been publicly announced yet. One of these projects is “very, very large” in terms of its potential economic impact on the city.

Public announcements for these projects likely won’t be made until land purchases have been finalized, according to McFarland.

The full interview with McFarland can be heard on the PinalCentral podcast.
