As another year comes to a close, it is time to look back at the top 10 stories of 2018 that were most influential, controversial and discussed for the city of Glendale.

The year began with the council selecting a new vice mayor and other new administrators within the city and ended with questions about back taxes with local businesses. In between, citizens were met with numerous stories that created much discussion among city staff and councilmembers.

As we close 2018 and look forward to 2019, here are the top 10 stories as selected by The Glendale Star that made the most noise and controversy during the past 12 months.
