Houses, condos, quads proposed in Saddleback

Wickenburg Town Hall / Wikicommons

A proposed rezone of a subdivision in west Wickenburg is back on the table this month. Caliber Companies has applied for a rezone and Planned Area Development (PAD) on 80 acres of vacant land northwest of the intersection of Vulture Mine Road and W. Wickenburg Way. The request is for an increase in density from 115 units to 163 units, consisting of both single-family and multi-family residential units. Current zoning in the subdivision which was approved in 2007 allows only single-family units.

The public will have an opportunity to comment during a special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 and during the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4. Both meetings are at Town Hall.
