Drought contingency plan coming to Glendale council

With recent storms having improved water levels in reservoirs that supply residents in the west, Glendale is prepared to hear an update on its drought contingency plan.

Water Services Director Craig Johnson said he will soon present council with an update on the city water resources and what the city plans for the next couple years.

Lawmakers agree to a plan

Arizona lawmakers agreed to a plan in late January to ease the drought and water supplies in the Colorado River Basin above drought levels.
